Ukraine in U.S. News Best Countries annual ranking

In our work at BRAND UKRAINE, we understand that national branding requires a systematic and data-driven approach. Thus, in addition to our own analytical products, which we regularly publish on our website, we also track data from international country rankings and reports.

Just recently, U.S. News published its annual ranking of Best Countries, and our team carefully reviewed it to understand how the perception of Ukraine by the global population changed.

This year, Ukraine ranked 68 among 87 countries, 6 points lower than the previous year. As expected, the lowest scores Ukraine received for safety, tourism, political and economic stability.

The good news is that Ukraine is perceived as a powerful, influential, and agile country. It ranked 14 in the category of “Power,” with №6 in “Strong military” and №10 in “Political influence.” Also, compared to 2022, Ukraine’s rank grew in “Prestigious” (№38), “Dynamic” (№38), and “Cares about animal rights” (№37).
